Just run the "CTDP2004MOD_V1.0Basic.exe" Setup file and follow the instructions.
PLEASE read the License Agreement and the ReadMe before you continuing.
Then choose your F1 Challenge 99 - 02 root folder and press "Start".
Setup will copy all needed files into your F1 Challenge 99 - 02 root folder.
You can choose between 3 different versions:
-> 2002 default Physics (Contains untouched physics and engine.ini's from 2002 Season of F1 Challenge)
-> 2002 default Physics + 2004 Engines (Contains untouched physics and 2004 adjusted engine.ini's)
-> 2004 CTDP Physics (Contains complete adjusted physics to simulate season 2004)
NOTE: Please choose only ONE!!! of this Physics.
After copying the files, a batch file will start and will copy some stock game files into CTDP 2004 Mod.
Then Setup will create 3 Icons (Run CTDP Mod, 3DConfigCTDP & Uninstall CTDP Mod) in your startmenu and on the desktop.
Before exiting setup please let the setup run 3DConfigCTDP.
This is the basic version of 2004Mod by CTDP. It contents only the Melbourne version of all Shapes & Textures.
Set details to full and run in 32bit mode for best quality.
To play F1 2004 MOD online please choose multiplayer in SINGLE PLAYER MENU, quit the mod and start Multiplayer Menu via the Launcher.Otherwise you
will have some problems with Multiplayer Menus.
Make sure that all users have the same physics version installed! Otherwise you will get HDV mismatches!
If you click on the CTDP icon on the desktop and only the stock game of F1 Challenge 99 - 02 launches, run 3DConfigCTDP again.
ATTENTION: For Season 2004 you only have a starting grid of 20 cars, so set AI Players to 19 in the game options.
Otherwise you will have more then 2 cars of each team in a race.
