Description:
Codemasters has released the playable demo for IndyCar Series, allowing you to experience the high-speed racing simulation that is nearing completion at Brain In A Jar. This demo contains the Texas Motor Speedway track that you can drive in test and race modes. The original file needlessly included a DirectX 8.1 distribution, so our copy is a 32 MB smaller download by removing that.
We here at Team Blackhole Motorsports
need your help. As you all know, the team puts in a great deal
of effort to provide you with the latest news and downloads
from the sim racing world. However, all of this hardwork comes
at a steep cost. Until now we have been able to maintain ourselves
but recent site popularity is making this more and more difficult.
Last month alone we transferred over 1.3TBs (thats 1,300GBs)
of data. The cost to provide that much bandwidth is expensive
and we need your help to keep us going. We are kindly asking
our patrons to use the PayPal donate button to make donations.
The PayPal donation is a secure and easy way to send your donations
directly to Team Blackhole Motorsports. Please help us by contributing
a donation so we can continue to provide you with the latest
news and downloads from the sim world.

OK It's not Papurus NR 2K2 or 2K3 and it does feel more like an arcade game than a racing sim.. But cmon you guys have been a little harsh I think. It is fun and thats whats most important.. The Graphics are good I like the simulated crowds better tho a little fuzzy. Now for the review of the physics engine.. the car handles well once you get used to it though I would like a little better steering calibration for my MS Sidewinder Wheel. The Force Feedback is very good and the cars fly. Though the demo doesnt allow for any setup changes I can see that the ability is there. Question is can I form my own team, paint my own cars, select my own driver or create one from scratch? No it's not up to par with Papyrus but hey, who is? I will buy the game when it comes out and I think and hope that if this demo is 70% of what the game has to offer then it should be worth the money. ADVICE take a look at your competitions sims and go back to the drawing board and really make this a Sim not a Game, it has that game feel. I will like to see what your next edition is cause you're on the right track just not quite up to par for us racing sim enthusiasts. Yes we have been spoiled and so you need to come thru if you want to be any where close to us Nascar Racing Brats.. BIG KEV
