A tutorial I put together ages ago on how to edit car skins (dds files) to create new car skins. The tutorial covers everything from editing dds files to how to create new skins using templates and masks. The tutorial is based on Paint Shop Pro but all the techniques can be done in most other graphics software.
Anyway.. I hope you enjoy it and make use of it.
PS. I do have some PSP file templates available if anyone is interested (or I could convert them to bmps).
