as far as i know iracing is moving to beta soon, or just has. my sources arn't very reliable, but i think it was mentioned sometime in the latest release of AutoSimSport. but i don't think i have seen a release date yet. but how many games are finished in time? not too many i'd guess. be patient and give them time, better a good game a year or two late than a game full of bugs...

With games like GPL,NR2003,LFS,rFactor,NSR,RBR,NH and many other good quality sims out there. Plus given the fact that you can create Mods and tracks and cars and other game utilities and play online for FREE. Who would really PAY for what iRacing is offering? Then must be high on something, to think that they will have successful new sim, if and when they release the game. The vibes are bad, me thinks. Remember, time wounds all heels.

| Ya, I understand what you are saying, but having a monthly subscription is there for a reason. If they will montor the sessions and provide patches and freq updates I dont mind paying $13 dollars a month. They stated they will group players to skill lvl and also have State of the art Tech to detect cheaters. I think the subscription and these things will keep the riffraff out and people who go on their just to be stupid. Hey if 9 million people pay $15 dollars a month for World of Warcraft, I dont think they will have a problem paying $13 a month. I think iracing is going to be great for serious Sim racers. |
